Naternal partnered with local farmers who use the practices they know and trust in RTP (Research Triangle Park) Where they have a team with degrees from places such as Duke, UNC, and NC State. Naternal turned a science lab into a state-of-the-art cannabis manufacturing facility, where they brought in two of the world’s top natural product experts to formulate their product line. Through it all, we are guided by three simple goals:

HOW & WHERE
Our Production Process Naternal products are manufactured by its parent company, Root Bioscience, Inc., a vertically integrated hemp processor. Their farms are located in rural North Carolina where they grow plants that have a specific combination of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. They extract these from the plants using ethanol processes they engineered and built. They then separate ethanol from the hemp extract using basic chemistry and transport the oils to our formulation and finishing lab in Research Triangle Park. That is where they refine the hemp extract oils into the purified distillate oils we use in our products. There are a few things you’ll immediately notice when you use Naternal products. First, our ingestible oils—or tinctures—do not look or taste like most others on the market. tinctures are clear and have a neutral taste. Naternal is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Root Bioscience, Inc. Root Bioscience is a materials science company, not a cannabis company attempting to learn science. It controls its entire supply chain from soil to oil and formulates Naternal products in a state-of-the-art GMP-compliant facility located in North Carolina’s world-renowned Research Triangle Park. That means their production process is meticulous, and testing is rigorous to give you the peace of mind you deserve.
